"The sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us." Romans 8:18
Coach Dunn and Linda tried to have a "normal day" with Sam today. They took him to the Galleria and rode the carousel for the first time. Moments spent with Sam are expecially precious.
Coach Dunn was also able to spend some time with Casey at Samford on Sunday. Casey and Samford hosted a baseball showcase which featured approximately 75 high school players. He enjoyed seeing 4 Vestavia players participate but wasn't able to stay for the whole thing.
He tires easily but is determined to keep going as long as he can. Even with people coming in steady streams to the house, he continues to "coach" his former players as he challenges them to examine their lives and see where they are with their personal relationship to Christ.
Linda Anderson returns to Michigan tomorrow for a follow-up appointment with a specialist. She needs prayer for a profitable appointment, safety in travel and another step toward healing. She is very grateful for our prayers on her behalf.
Thanks for praying,
Donna
